Hi, I’m Lucia.

I am a functional health cycle coach + foodie.

I believe the world needs more well-fed, well-rested women living their power.

I teach traditional kitchen wisdom to people who want to take their health into their own hands and harness the power of their menstrual cycle to find their ‘kitchen flow’.

For far too long we have been ignoring the innate intelligence of the female body. We have been taught that having a period is a curse instead of something to be celebrated and used to our advantage.

I teach women how to cook using the high energy time in their cycle so they can are set up with ready-made food for their low energy times. Imagine cooking when you feel like it and enjoying the fruits of your labour while premenstrual and bleeding.

My health transformation

After working, exercising, and partying a bit too hard in my early 20’s, I found myself completely without energy and motivation. I never had enough time and felt as if I was always just scraping by. I was not sick enough for the conventional health system to help me but not well enough to live the life I imagined for myself.

The thing that really broke my heart was that I thought I was eating well and exercising and ‘doing everything right.’ I didn’t understand why I was miserable and tired all of the time!

I’ve learnt a lot since then and the transformation that followed was pretty magical !

  • I have energy to live authentically and create a life I love

  • I feel confident and relaxed in my approach to food

  • I live in sync with my cycle and my PMS and period pain is almost non existent

  • I feel much less irritable and anxious and much more grounded

1. Fun fact

My darling partner Marcus and I have been together for 8 years. His spirit animal would probably be a seal (the dogs of the ocean, very playful yet calm). We love cooking together and he claims to be my recipe developer which is kinda true.

2. Fun fact

I grew up on an off grid community near Bellingen NSW. So I’m no stranger to composting toilets and no tv because there’s not enough solar power (Don’t worry I’ve made up for lost time by binging plenty of netflix😂). I spent most of my childhood climbing trees or building rafts on the damn. Probably one of the reasons we have settled rurally, in Tasmania.

3. Fun fact

We try to go camping really regularly. So much so that we just built a kitchenette in the back of my car. Nothing makes me happier than collecting fresh oysters at the beach and laying naked in the sun (which doesn’t happen nearly enough in cold old Tasmania).

I LOVE to dress up! Costume parties, facepaints and funky outfits give me so much joy! So much so, I even used to have a business as a face painter. P.s This is my bestie. Hopefully we can recreate this photo when we are wizened old ladies.

The why behind it all…

Cooking has been branded as a waste of time, our trust handed over to big business food companies who value profit over health.

Working with the menstrual cycle, with our bodies rather than against them to create sustainable ways to nourish ourselves and our families means that we can live a life of purpose and pleasure.

We can be the women the world needs now.
